My First Blog Post

Pets have more love and compassion in them than most humans.

— Robert Wagner.

Becoming a mother is one of the hardest job. A job where you can’t request to have a day off, to resign, to retire or to have a pay rise. Once you become a mother you will always be a mother. A loving, sweet, caring and gentle mother who will raise her child to be better in the future and the love of a mother does not differ in each and every species. May it be human, dog, cat, tiger, lion or even hamster, maternal love is just so strong that it doesn’t acknowledge any boundaries. Notice that when someone is pregnant she will do her best to keep that seed of her healthy and happy. That is also true in hamsters. When a hamster felt that she will be carrying pups, which will range from 1 to 12, she will start to be more cautious of her actions. A Campbell Dwarf Hamster is an energetic pet and likes to play especially in their wheels. However, a pregnant hamster will play less because her pups might be miscarried. Moreover, she will become busy building nest where she will cradle her babies when they are born. She will make sure that the nest is soft, big and deep that will make her babies feel comfortable. Just like how a human prepares when she is about to have a baby. A mother hamster will also stack food that will feed her during her pregnancy and to make sure that the babies will have food after 1 week from birth. Usually, she will stack it beside her nest and the babies will dive for it when they start to eat solid foods. If a human prepares all the necessary things she and the baby needs during and after pregnancy, so do animals. They also love their child so much and will do everything for them, animals might not be as wise as humans. But they have feelings, and sometimes their feeling is more genuine than humans. More deep and more unconditional than us, but we cannot understand it, we don’t try to understand their feeling. Sometimes, we only think of our family without considering the family of the animals we eliminate for selfish and nonsense reasons. If you love your mother or your child, animals also do.

Hi humans, I am Angel but you can call me "Giting". I am 17 years old and more importantly, I love animals. My love for these creatures made me do this blog. Currently, I have Dwarf Campbell Hamster as my pet. These little fellas will be the main attraction of this blog. My experiences, lessons and things about hamster that I could relate to human life will be shared here. I started making hamster as pets one year ago, it was on December 2018. However, even though its still a short period of time, I have encountered and learned a lot from my hamsters. These new knowledge that my pet gave me are wonderful things. Thus, I believe these things are worthy to be shared to those who cared.
